SAM.gov — Simplified

SAM.gov RFQ Search,
Without the Headache

SAM.gov has every federal contract opportunity — but it's notoriously hard to use. EasyGov pulls the same data and adds AI summaries so you can find relevant RFQs in minutes, not hours.

Why SAM.gov Search Is Frustrating

SAM.gov is the authoritative source for all U.S. federal contract opportunities — but it wasn't designed with small business owners in mind. The interface has improved over the years, but it still suffers from several core problems:

  • Jargon-heavy listings. Solicitations are written by contracting officers for contracting officers. Terms like PWS, CLINS, FAR clauses, and LPTA evaluation criteria aren't explained anywhere on the page.
  • Scattered filter system. Finding 8(a)-only opportunities or SDVOSB set-asides requires knowing which dropdown menus to use and which codes to enter.
  • No easy way to save or track. SAM.gov has watchlists, but managing them is cumbersome, and there's no dashboard view of your saved opportunities and their deadlines.
  • Information overload. A single RFP can run dozens or hundreds of pages. Finding the "should I even bid?" information requires reading the whole thing.
