These Terms of Service govern your use of EasyGov Contracts, operated at easygovcontracting.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

About the Service

EasyGov Contracts aggregates publicly available U.S. federal contract opportunity data from the SAM.gov API (api.sam.gov) and presents it alongside AI-generated plain-English summaries to help small businesses find and understand procurement opportunities.

EasyGov Contracts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAM.gov, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the General Services Administration (GSA), or any other federal agency. We are an independent third-party service that reads from publicly available government data.

AI Summaries

The plain-English summaries displayed on opportunity pages are generated automatically by an AI model (Anthropic Claude). These summaries are provided as a convenience to help you quickly assess whether an opportunity is worth pursuing. They may contain errors, omissions, or mischaracterizations of the underlying solicitation.

Data Accuracy and Timeliness

Contract opportunity data is pulled from SAM.gov on a periodic schedule. Due to technical limitations in how we sync data, there may be delays between when an opportunity is posted, modified, or closed on SAM.gov and when that change is reflected on EasyGov Contracts. On days with a high volume of new postings, some opportunities may not appear in our database at all.

We make no guarantee that the data displayed is complete, accurate, or current. Always check SAM.gov directly for the authoritative record before submitting a response.

Acceptable Use

You may use EasyGov Contracts for lawful purposes consistent with these terms. You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the service in bulk, beyond normal browser-based usage.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data or AI summaries provided by the service to third parties.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law, including U.S. federal and state law.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its underlying systems.

Note: The underlying SAM.gov data is public government information. These restrictions apply to our presentation layer, AI summaries, and service infrastructure — not to your independent use of the raw SAM.gov API directly.

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or are using the service in a way that harms the service or other users. Because the service is currently free, no refunds apply.

No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EASYGOV CONTRACTS AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, MISSED CONTRACTING DEADLINES, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON INACCURATE, DELAYED, OR MISSING CONTRACT DATA OR AI SUMMARIES.

Because the service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the service shall not exceed zero dollars ($0.00). This limitation reflects the free nature of the service and applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Federal contracting involves binding deadlines and significant business consequences. It is your responsibility to track solicitation deadlines and verify all information directly on SAM.gov. Do not rely on this service as your sole source of contracting intelligence.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Florida.
